Dany Noel Trio: Videos

Detalles

Travel through music around the world, Latin jazz with influences from other genres. This trio project was born once again in Madrid, an idea of the bassist, arranger, composer, and singer Dany Noel (Cuba). With his bass/voice and his musicians, he reflects his interests, from Latin music to fusion.

In the album "DETALLES," we find Raúl Venegas (Cuba) on acoustic and electric guitar, Alejandro Chavez (Cuba) on drums, and Agnese Carrubba (Sicily) on backing vocals.

Without a doubt, this trio invites us on a fresh and original musical journey. Listen and feel the details!

Intercambio

A meeting of cultures that offers the opportunity to travel to different parts of the world, a fusion that shows the essence of Latin jazz with great harmony among the musicians.
This project was born in Madrid, an eclectic and international metropolis, from an idea of the bassist, singer, arranger and composer Dany Noel (Cuba) who with his bass/voice and a trio of exquisite quality, expresses his music full of different environments in an exchange (in spanish “Intercambio”) of genres, from Latin to fusion music, from jazz to flamenco.
In the album “Intercambio” we find the unique touch of Jorge Vera (Chile) on the piano, who gives us all the culture and feeling of his country, and on the drums, reinforcing time and rhythm, we have two talents of the same caliber, Miguel Lamas (Spain) and Dani Morales (Cuba).
This atypical and sensational trio, without a doubt, invites us to a fresh and fascinating musical journey, all that remains is to enjoy it!

Proposicion

A new artistic perspective of Dany Noel, in which Cuban music, flamenco and Latin jazz come together in an atmosphere of fusion. To realize the project he availed himself of the collaboration of great musicians and friends: the New trumpeter and conga player Jerry González, the drummer Horacio “El negro” Hernández, the singer Concha Buika, the pianists Javier Masso Caramelo, Ivan “Melon” Lewis and Ivan Bridon, Dario Chiazzolino on guitar, Inoidel Gonzále Sax and Carlos Sarduy on trumpet.
In this project, Dany Noel takes us on a journey full of good music and poetry, in which we feel different and innovative influences in a single fusion genre.

Tinta Unida

A fresh work, with a festive atmosphere, that vibrates in the tradition of Cuban rhythmic music that blends with flamenco and Latin jazz, to achieve a surprising result that lives in the memory of the spectators.
Tinta Unida represents colors, the skin colors of his musicians, the colors of music. It comes in various forms, all of equal importance without losing its essence. The composition, arrangements, and the melodic, harmonic and rhythmic treatment represent this essence, which Dany Noel crafts as composer, arranger, bassist, singer, and producer.

Confidence.jpeg

Confidence

An album recorded in duo by Dany Noel and Italian guitarist Dario Chiazzolino. It is purely a jazz work.
These two musicians come together to express their feelings and lifestyles through music, in an album that is recorded through the art of improvisation, creating rich melodies that caress the soul of the listener.

Por la Habana.jpeg

Por la Habana

Por la Habana represents an ode to his hometown for the 500th anniversary of its foundation and thanks to its music reflects the culture of the Cuban people. A record that represents an incitement to the "bailador" that flows from its roots to reach all Caribbean genres. His arrangements are full of Cuban rhythms, where in addition to singing and performing new themes, Dany Noel transforms the Italian song “Stare bene a metà” by Pino Daniele into an upbeat, groovy theme, making the audience stand up for an evening full of Cuban flavor.

Education & Teaching

For me it is essential to share what great teachers have taught me and my personal experiences as a human being and a musician. My life is music, 38 years of career in Cuban music and many other genres have helped me to understand and develop my own style. In my first 2 books, I capture my ideas of Cuban tumbaos and in the 3rd book, I explain new techniques to accompany Cuban music that can bridge the gap with Latin jazz and other genres.
